3-prong silk pins to hold your silk taut on a wooden frame, without ripping. Includes a metal pin remover. Suitable for soft woods, ideal for our batik and silk painting frames. The pins are made from cold rolled steel. A note on pins - the manufacturer ALCO has changed their specification. We had found their previous type to break quite easily. Although these pins are stronger the ends are not so pointed and some customers are finding them more difficult to push into the wood of their frame - it depends how soft the wood is. Using a small hammer would help, and use the enclosed implement to remove them.
