Silk Painting - Kits, Paints & Dyes and Accessories
For basic silk painting you will need iron-fix paints or steam-fix dyes, along with silk, an outliner (not required if you choose a pre-gutta silk item or want random effects), pins, a frame, a small selection of brushes and a palette.
If you are a beginner you may wish to start with an ironfix paint kit from Javana or Pebeo.
An ideal way to learn more is with the DVD "Silk Painting with Jill Kennedy" which will take you through nearly every technique you would like to know!
