These ribbons are very textural as there are various silks and tones. Most skeins are hand-dyed and others use ready-dyed sari strips in blended tones. They are made by women in villages in India, helping local communities.

Use for any creative textiles purpose you can think of! Use for weaving, creative embroidery and mixed media, for knitting bags, making jewellery, wrapping gifts and much more.

There could be very small amounts of other fibres and metallics, and also over-dyed prints which add to the interest.

Approx 2.5cm wide. Approx 71 metres per skein, although this will vary depending on the weight of the silks used.
