Composition: 100% non-superwash merino (24 mic) Count: 2/6 nm Meterage: 300m per 100g Tension: 24 sts x 38 rows in 10 cm (4 in) over st st using 3mm needles Made from 100% non-superwash merino (24 micron), Woolly Merino Sport is a soft, lofty and lightweight yarn with a lovely bloom when knitted up. This eco-friendly yarn is woollen spun which means the fibres are not combed during production. Unlike worsted spun yarns, the strands of our Woolly Merino Sport lie in different directions. This creates lots of air pockets that trap warmth and so the yarn produces insulating garments that don’t weigh you down. Soft to begin with, the yarn softens even more after washing . The dyed yarn has a matt appearance and, with its gentle halo, has a blended effect in knitted projects, making it perfect for stranded colourwork kits. It is also wonderful for textured patterns. Care Instructions: Hand wash using a wool detergent ideally below 30?C, avoid wringing and twisting. Dry flat, do not sun dry, spin or tumble dry. Non-superwash.
