Marbling involves floating paints on the surface of a gel-like medium (known as the “marbling size”) and then transferring this floating design onto paper or fabric. Use this traditional technique to make your own patterned fabric, one-of-a-kind wrapping paper, greeting cards, fine art and more. Each design is as unique as a fingerprint! The Marbling kit includes 6 Marbling Colours, 14 ml each in yellow, red, violet, blue, white, & black, along with Synthetic Gall for greater control and special effects, the mordant Alum and Carrageenan which produces fine marbling lines and allows the paints to perform better. Full instructions are included, and the paints have been reformulated to improve the flow.
