Javana Cold Wax is suitable for creations on silk and cotton fabrics. No need to heat - just brush or apply the cold wax onto your fabric, and use as a resist for your paints. Allow to dry for 30-60 minutes. Surplus wax can be removed with paper (kitchen roll is ideal) when the wax is dry by ironing on the “cotton setting” as for iron-fix paints. The paper should be placed between the fabric and the iron. If using steam fixed paints, the colours should be fixed before the wax is removed.
