Scarves are hand-hemmed and ready to paint or dye. The majority of scarves have the silk grown, spun, woven and hand-hemmed in China.They are made in modern factories where workers are well treated and there is no child or slave labour involved. Most of the silk scarves are from our major suppliers Arty's, Ideen and H Dupont. We also import from India where many of the scarves are hand-loomed and hand finished. Some of these will be made in villages, supporting local communities. Please note that as the scarves are hand-finished sizes may slightly vary.
