Author and internationally renowned quilt artist M. Joan Lintault shares the philosophies and techniques she uses to create her amazing art quilts. While Lintault does explain some of her technical processes in the book including sketching, fabric dyeing, layering, sewing and appliqué techniques - it is less a how-to book as a get yourself going book. Robert Shaw, quilt expert and author of The Art Quilt raves, I encourage anyone interested in making art to read this marvelous book&I cannot recommend it highly enough. 128 pages, large paperback.
