Enchanting Neck Purses on Saturday 6 Nov 2010 with Marilyn Pipe
Make a small purse to go around your neck to hold a secret letter or momento, a £20 note! or small embroidery scissors. There will be lots of stitch (machine or hand) and beading, and you will use soluble fabrics.
You will make a beautiful item to keep or give to someone special - this class is ideally timed for Christmas presents!
Solubles and a selection of basic threads etc will be provided - please bring along your own threads (including machine embroidery threads if using a machine), yarns and beads from your stash.
Please bring a basic sewing kit including needles and sharp scissors.
If you would like to do machine embroidery please bring your sewing machine, an embroidery foot if possible and an embroidery hoop. Threads and hoop are available for sale in the shop.
If you need to borrow a machine please let us know in advance. We can help if you wish to drop your machine off by car, on the way to parking.
