| Lutradur is a unique spunbonded nonwoven material. It has been featured several times in magazines including Quilting Arts, and we were amazed by Barbara Lee Smith's work using Lutradur at the Knitting and Stitching Show in 2006.
Lutradur is a safe flexible fibre-glass like material, it is light weight but deceptively strong in all directions. The special spunbonding process provides a material that has a random structure consisting of fine polyester filaments bonded together using heat and pressure.
Available in white in two weights, 70 is the most common type, and 30 is the newer more lightweight version. We also have black in the 70 weight.
